Dear Neighbours,
Reference: Rezoning of the property at Avondrust Circle and Chapman’s Peak Drive for the purpose of developing a 100-seater restaurant
COME OUT AND STAND TOGETHER
Yes, now is the time to show your objection to this commercial rezoning!
The Mayor, the mayoral committee, and city planning department officials will be on site tomorrow
Tuesday 10 June – at 8:15am.
On-site visits follow a strict protocol, where we objectors and the applicant are not allowed to interact with the meeting participants, unless requested. But we can be there! The weather forecast is good – come out, drive by on Avondrust, then park where you can, stand roadside and show your interest in their proceedings. Show the Mayor and her committee we are a community who care about our special rural environment.
Bring your friends and neighbours – we’d really like to see a strong community gathering. There are 80+ official objections to this application; an unprecedented number in Noordhoek history. And we know anecdotally there are scores more who have voiced their opposition… come out and stand together tomorrow!
Kind regards,
Patty Fennell
