Toad Fundraiser succeeds – the barrier is going up

The Noordhoek community rocks! The Toad Barrier Fundraiser raised enough money to fund the second barrier on Noordhoek Main Rd.

Thank you for your amazing generosity  Noordhoek!

How cool is it to live in a community that cares? The response to our appeal for financial support for our second toad barrier was overwhelming! All 150 tickets were sold out for our barrier concert featuring Donovan Copley of Hot Water and the Toad NUTS Kids. It was standing room only on the night at an additional 30 tickets were sold at the door.

After expenses, R11610 was raised, including two large donations from Cecil Whiteman and Brendan Kannemeyer (thank you guys – without you we wouldn’t have made it!). This money will be spent on 1km of netting, 50 buckets to catch the toads in; poles for erecting the barrier, refective tape, cable ties and labour.

The Toad NUTS Kids blew us away with their synchronized talent!

Volunteers needed!
Please contact us if you would like to become a toad volunteer this winter:

Donovan has never worked with more talented back-up singers!
Our neon beanies were a huge hit! You can contact us for sales of neon orange and yellow beanies.
Book your tickets to see Hot Water live at Cafe Roux on 31st July!
